Here is how it works. A reducer turns the filter drum at a constant speed. A vacuum pump creates a pressure difference. The spent diatomite liquid flows through a filter tank. Water is sucked into a tank and drained or recycled. The solid spent diatomite sticks to the outside of the drum and forms a cake. When the cake reaches a certain thickness, a scraper moves forward. It scrapes the cake into a collection trough. Then you bag the dry waste. The cycle repeats. Water is separated. Dry waste is collected.
