Lower Cost for Non-Food Use
Not every tank in a brewery needs to be stainless steel. Some places only need carbon steel. For example, water storage tanks, wastewater tanks, cooling tower water tanks, air compressor tanks, and fuel oil tanks. These tanks do not touch the food. So using carbon steel saves you a lot of money. Our heavy carbon steel tanks use Q235B or Q345R material. The thickness depends on the diameter and pressure. We use the same automatic welding as for stainless steel. The inner wall gets anti-rust treatment. We can paint it with epoxy resin or do hot-dip galvanizing. The outer wall gets an anti-corrosion coating. You can choose the color.
Where We Use Carbon Steel Tanks
We make product in both horizontal and vertical types. Horizontal tanks sit on the ground with saddle supports. Vertical tanks sit on a foundation with a skirt or legs. The capacity goes from 1 cubic meter to 200 cubic meters. The working pressure is from normal pressure up to 1.0 MPa. The temperature is from room temperature up to 200 degrees Celsius. We use these tanks in several places in a brewery. First is the raw water tank. Breweries use a lot of water every day. They store raw water first, then treat it. Carbon steel is enough for raw water. Second is the wastewater collection tank. Wastewater from the brewhouse and packing line goes into this tank. Carbon steel resists corrosion well enough. Third is the air compressor tank. Compressed air needs a stable pressure. Carbon steel tanks work fine for this. And we have the pressure vessel license for it. Fourth is the fuel oil tank. If your boiler runs on diesel or heavy oil, the oil tank can be carbon steel.

And we made one 100-cubic-meter water tank for Qiandao Lake Brewery. These customers chose carbon steel to save money. Stainless steel costs two to three times more. After you get the tanks, we provide installation guidance. If you need pressure vessel inspection, we give you all the documents. These include the quality certificate, material certificate, welding records, and non-destructive test reports. Our factory has a Class D pressure vessel manufacturing license.
